An Auckland company director has apologised for an advertisement labelled “patronising” and “aggressive”, saying it doesn’t represent the values of the business.
All Clear, a property testing group which checks homes for mould, meth, asbestos and more, posted the listing for a graduate role on Seek.
“This is a graduate role where we will invest in YOU,” it read.
“The salary reflects that massive investment in YOUR training on OUR part. Unrealistic expectations here WILL rule your application out IMMEDIATELY.”
The listing was reposted on Reddit, where commenters tore it apart, blasting All Clear as “embarrassing”, “patronising” and “incredibly cringey”.
