Briscoes boss Rod Duke plans to appeal an Auckland Council abatement notice ordering his controversial Auckland boatshed to be pulled down.
Council officers this week issued a notice ordering the boatshed at the richlister’s Herne Bay property, which was to have a built-in helipad, to be removed within three months following a High Court ruling.
In 2018, Justice Christine Gordon quashed Auckland Council’s decision to process the consent application without the public being notified.
