Israel Folau

PHOTO:  GETTY IMAGES Israel Folau, right, didn’t play for the Waratahs again after his controversial Instagram post led to his sacking.

He’s seeking public donations for his legal fees yet Israel Folau lives where most could only dream of and that’s just one of his eight properties.

The sacked Wallabies star has set a goal to fundraise A$3 million in donations to help support his legal action against Rugby Australia via a GoFundMe page.

More than 5898 people have reached into their pockets to raise in excess of A$465,000 within 17 hours of the page being created. In New Zealand currency the page has raised $493,217.

Folau has been widely slammed for creating the page and that’s not surprising given The Australian’s Business Review has reported the former Wallabies star boasts a burgeoning A$5.6 million property portfolio.
