Not everyone who can afford to live in the heart of the city chooses to build a high wall and lock themselves away.
That’s not what was wanted by the owners of this inner-city terrace renovation in Fitzroy, Melbourne, even though high land values in the suburb encourage others to use up all the land with buildings.
Architect Andrew Maynard of Austin Maynard Architects says the owners wanted to give something back to the suburb they love. “They sought to create a new pocket park.”
