When Natasha Twohill told her friends and family she was building a house on 61 square metres of land on the Gold Coast of Australia, they were horrified.
“They were like. ‘Oh my god, do you know how small that is?’ People would laugh at me. And I didn’t actually know, I didn’t really have an understanding of how small it was,” she said.
“In the back of my head I thought. ‘What have I done, have I made a mistake?’
