Ray White Group joint chairman, Paul White, is selling his beloved Clayfield 1930’s-style home called Arlington, named after a western Darling Downs sheep station where he once worked as a young jackeroo.

Mr White and his partner Lynne Porcsin have owned the four-bedroom, classic, single storey home on one of Brisbane’s best streets for more than five and a half years.

Arlington was the first property I worked at as a jackeroo. It’s west of Tara near Dalby and I always loved it out there. Right now Lynne and I are downsizing as we already have acreage at Fig Tree Pocket and property on Moreton Island,” Mr White said.

Ray White Ascot principal Dwight Ferguson, and auctioneer Philip Parker will auction the home at 129 Adelaide Street East, Clayfield on November 23 at 1pm on-site.

Mr Ferguson said the home had been fastidiously renovated and extended, while retaining the home’s original character and timeless style.
