A real estate agent has been left red-faced after making an awkward typo in an Adelaide house listing.

Eagle-eyed house hunters reading the description for the impressive home in Marleston were quick to point out the X-rated typo.

The ad began by describing the “immaculate attention to detail” in the property, such as the “traditional hallway” and “alluring staircase”.

But it is when the writer starts to describe the kitchen that things take a turn.

“The contemporary kitchen area is complete with lux stone bench tops, modern stainless steel appliances and loads of storage plus wank in pantry,” the listing reads.

Most readers assumed the realtor was meant to write “walk” in pantry as opposed to “wank” in pantry.

The mistake has been fixed online but some locals snapped a picture of the typo in the paper.

“Dream house. Never seen with one with a wank in pantry,” Facebook user Teagan Smith wrote next to a photo of the listing.

“Probably wouldn’t want to eat from their house,” another joked.

“Doesn’t sound very hygienic,” another added.
