“There are a few surprises in the list, but the majority of the streets are in very expensive locations featuring beautiful homes,” says Nerida Conisbee, Chief Economist at realestate.com.au.
“We also love things which are unique. In Melbourne, a comparative lack of water-view properties compared to Sydney is a driving factor.
“Patterson Lakes is the only canal suburb in Melbourne and we’re obsessed with the water frontage you can get on the popular Palm Beach Drive. Similarly, we love the views of Port Phillip Bay from Kunyung Road in Mount Eliza and Beach Road in Black Rock.”
