PHOTO: SUPPLIED – A bank has pulled out of selling this Whangarei home through a mortgagee sale.
A Whangarei house with two real estate agents is no longer a mortgagee sale after the bank pulled its listing.
The Kamo West house was in the usual situation of being listed twice, one agency appointed by the bank and another by the owner.
Mortgagee sales are usually an action of last resort by a bank after an owner has fallen behind on payments and won’t or can’t address the debt.
First National agent Vanessa Pahau confirmed the house was still on the market but was no longer a mortgagee sale, and the other listing no longer appears on Trade Me.
