In September, the couple initiated the construction of their residence in Te Arai, a project helmed by Auckland-based architect John Irving. Parcels of land in Te Arai reportedly command prices exceeding $3 million, with reports circulating that some affluent buyers have acquired not just one but two or even three sections.
Rumors have also surfaced about another billionaire, Harry Hart, a friend of Mowbray and the son of New Zealand’s wealthiest man, Graeme Hart, undertaking a construction project in the same area.
Meanwhile, Mowbray and Lupton have returned to their extensively renovated mansion in Coatesville, Mahoenui Valley. Renowned interior designer Rufus Knight collaborated with Lupton to craft the decor of the expansive residence, including the addition of a new wellness center.
With the anticipation of their first child, the couple has already hosted gatherings at their residence, now valued at over $40 million. Known for their extravagant themed parties, they recently organized a western-themed hoedown in the week leading up to Christmas.
