The fifth and final apartment from 2019’s The Block NZ: Firehouse Edition has passed in at auction.

The 80sqm home, which opens onto a balcony at the rear of the vintage Kingsland building, went under the hammer at 4pm but did not sell.

A spokeswoman for Three, where the show airs, said it “remains on the market but negotiations are currently underway”.

Apartment five was worked on by the four teams of the 2019 season and had a bathroom fitted out by 2018 winners, Amy and Stu Watts. The couple continued their 2018 winning streak by winning the episode’s room revel with their red and white tiled luxury bathroom.
