Bogor surely would have approved – the new owners of the Seatoun bush property where Burton Silver penned the comic strip about the lonely woodsman have transformed the little ’50s bach on the site.
They haven’t changed the character, but they have given it an amazing paint job, both inside and out. And they’ve added an outdoor bathtub, which takes in the great view of Wellington Harbour.
And now that it’s quite possibly the cutest ever old-style bach, they have listed it on a glamping website, which means anyone can come and stay and enjoy the peace and quiet of Silver’s isolated retreat themselves.
