Singer Olivia Newton-John secured $4.6 million when her Dalwood estate, on the NSW north coast, sold last month.
Its buyer has emerged as Carol Klinkert, wife of businessman Stephen, who has 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry in South Africa, the UK and Australia.
The couple are based in Kenmore Hills, southwest of Brisbane, and also have a holiday home at Beaulieu-sur-Mer in the south of France.
The original Dalwood cottage was rebuilt in 2002 into a French-inspired country house with vintage timber doors and stone arches, along with a vast country-style kitchen.
There’s also a self-contained guest retreat along with two dams, a pond and tennis court.
