This tiny terrace is on just 49 sqm, but a buyer who saw it for the first time at the auction paid a multimillion-dollar price to own it.
With the “Bank of Mum and Dad”, DINKS (double income, no kids) and wealthy downsizers showing interest in the nicely renovated two-bedder at 23 Queen Road, Paddington, Ray White TRG’s Evan Williams had brought forward the auction from June 8.
“We thought he was pulling our leg because it hadn’t even been on the market for a week,” the owners, John Vaccaro, state manager for International Trade Management, and his wife, Sabrina said.

But they were glad they took the advice, with it selling for $2.18m, $230,000 above reserve.
