The music power couple reportedly acquired their vast Malibu estate entirely in cash. Designed by the acclaimed Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the sprawling 2,790 square meters property mirrors the style of Kanye West’s $57.3 million mansion, also crafted by Ando during West’s divorce from Kim Kardashian. Mark Wahlberg, formerly known as ‘Marky Mark,’ experienced a substantial markdown, selling his Beverly Hills mansion for $55 million (AU$79.7 million), a significant reduction from its initial listing of $116 million (US$87.5 million) in April 2022.
Wahlberg’s expansive 2.5-hectare estate in the exclusive North Beverly Park gated community features a vast 2,830 square meters home with 12 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms. Brad Pitt, who listed his long-term LA compound adjacent to Angelina Jolie for nearly $57 million at the beginning of 2023, ultimately settled for a sale price of $49.6 million. Pitt opted for a more modest mid-century Los Feliz residence for $8.3 million after nearly three decades of ownership.
