An A-list line up of celebrities overcame the Melbourne market blues to cash in on spectacular property sales this year.
Legendary leg-spinner turned commentator Shane Warne notably flipped his Brighton mansion for almost $19 million, just a year and a half after buying it back for $14.25 million.
It was the second time he’d sold the pad, with a pool baring his cricket number 23, in eleven years.
Fellow sporting hero Tim Cahill inked a $3.5 million deal for his resort-style Lower Plenty home shortly after retiring from the Socceroos, while TV and radio personality Red Symon’s former digs fetched a Fitzroy North record price of $5 million.
