Allegations are swirling around The Block Australia as reports suggest that contestants have left the show just two weeks into filming at Phillip Island. According to Yahoo Lifestyle, the Channel Nine programme has been disrupted by the departure of a couple from the series, though they reportedly exited voluntarily and were not ousted. Sources claim that the unfolding drama may be aired on the show, but there’s no word yet on whether the couple will be replaced. If indeed confirmed, this departure would mark the second time the series has faced an early exit.

This incident echoes a previous occurrence when influencer Elle Ferguson and her partner, former AFL player Joel Patfull, left The Block shortly after filming commenced in the 2022 season.
It comes after the genius tactic 2023 winner Steph and Gian Ottavio (pictured) employed threatened to derail the 2024 season of the Channel Nine series, as future contestants may attempt to follow in their footsteps
As anticipation builds for the show’s return later this year, Nine has disclosed that five teams will vie to transform properties on the former Island Cove Villas site, purchased for $9.5 million by a Nine-owned company. Located two-and-a-half hours from Melbourne, the site boasts nine homes, communal amenities, and recreational facilities.
The recent disruption follows concerns raised by the strategic maneuvering of the 2023 winners, Steph and Gian Ottavio, whose tactics could potentially influence future contestants. In an interview with Daily Mail Australia, the duo revealed their approach, which involved engaging an auctioneer shortly after receiving the invitation to participate. Their strategy proved successful, securing them victory and significant profits in previous seasons of the renovation show.
