A couple who arrived at their dream house to find a power transformer plonked smack bang in front of it have won their battle to get it removed.
Mark and Glenda Burgess bought their property in a new subdivision on Guppy Road in Taradale, Hawke’s Bay, in May last year.
Work on their 230sqm. three-bedroom house began in June last year. In September they arrived at the property after two weeks away doing voluntary work in Fiji to find the large green box right in front of their house.
