This run-down character villa in the heart of Ponsonby, Auckland has been sold to a local family who will be restoring it to use as their own family home.
The house was home to Ponsonby’s “dancing granny” – Miriam Annette Muzyka, who for many years, right into her 80s, delivered circulars around Ponsonby, Freemans Bay and Herne Bay. The house had been in the same family for 63 years.
Listing agent Steven Glucina of LJ Hooker says there were eight offers for the house, which was sold by deadline sale.
