Media personality Deborah Hutton has snapped up an oceanfront home south of Sydney as the buyer of her stunning Bronte residence can be revealed.
Updated property records show Hutton bought an absolute oceanfront property near Coledale, north of Wollongong, for $5.6m last October.
The rundown home looks to be precisely the renovation project she was seeking, a three-bedroom cottage on a 1048 sqm block with 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean.
It has direct access to the water’s edge via staircase at the rear.
Hutton told me in an exclusive Wentworth Courier interview last November she was looking forward to leaving Sydney:

… to this one in the Coledale area, north of Wollongong.
The property was sold by McGrath Thirroul principal Vanessa Denison-Pender in an off-market deal, who had no comment when contacted.
Meanwhile, sources have revealed the buyer of Hutton’s luxurious Hamptons-style Bronte residence, which sold for just under $10m on December 14, was Rachel Wiseman, CEO of NRMA Expeditions.
Bethwyn Richards, of The Agency, or Michael Pallier, managing director of Sotheby’s, were the sales agents of 4 Pembroke St, but wouldn’t comment on the purchaser.
4 Pembroke St, Bronte sold for just under $10m on December 14.
It has very stylish interiors, as you would expect.
