- Increasing demand has seen Wellington Airport’s domestic terminal grow by the size of 12 basketball courts.
The main terminal building and apron has been extended by an additional 6000 square metres as part of a $58 million development.
The development includes more parking spaces for aircraft, improved passenger facilities, a centralised screening point and easier movement for travellers throughout the terminal.
