A DISGRACED Brisbane businessman has sold his sprawling property for $4.35 million five years after being sentenced to home detention.

The Clayfield property was the highest price fetched by a Queensland home last week, selling at auction.

The sale comes five years after prominent Queenslander Colin Ryan was sentenced to seven months’ home detention in New Zealand over false statements in offer documents for NZ company Capital+Merchants.
