Large Detective Team Investigates Mysterious Disappearance of Yanfei Bao
Last Known Sighting and Concerns
Yanfei Bao, 44, a dedicated real estate agent, was last seen in the Wigram area around 10.30 am on Wednesday. Her husband, Paul Gooch, has taken to social media to express deep concern for her safety and well-being. The couple’s nine-year-old daughter joins in the desperate appeal for any information that could lead to her whereabouts.
Unexplained Disappearance
Bao’s mysterious vanishing occurred during her door-to-door outreach for work in Christchurch. Detectives are puzzled by her sudden disappearance, and more than 40 real estate agents have suspended work to aid in the search.
Police Investigation and Car Discovery
Operation Helo, a sizable police effort, is underway to trace Bao’s movements before she went missing. Her silver Nissan Dualis car, registered PKT 556, was found about 1km from the last known sighting, and investigators are conducting forensic examinations.
