A leading property portal has tried to take some of the stress from owning a home by giving owners personalised insight into their asset.
Domain has launched Domain for Owners, which generates personalised information such as the demand for similar properties and its estimated value, for home owners.
The information comes from the property platform’s extensive data, and it reveals how a home’s value has changed over time, similar homes on the market, property movements at a suburb level, and it can connect owners with agents.
Domain views this product as a way of making decisions about property easier, its chief consumer officer, Jason Chuck, said.
“Domain for Owners is a big move for the industry. It’s the first time owners can see at this granular level, what current demand there is for their specific home. When you think about how that information can help home owners make their next move, the potential is huge,” Mr Chuck said.
