The supermodel and entrepreneur paid $8.1 million for the property in 2018
During her time in the six bedroom, seven bathroom house, the walls featured works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Richard Prince, and many of the other prominent figures of the past half-century’s art world. “I’ve had a passion for art since I was a student, and I met everyone from Warhol to Joseph Kosuth to Keith Haring and Tracey Emin,” Macpherson told AD during a home tour in 2019. “Someone wise once told me that when it comes to acquiring art, you should buy your contemporaries because they speak your cultural language. And that’s what I did.” Custom millwork adds dimension to the simple, classy interiors that allow the artwork to do the talking.

During Macpherson’s time there, the space emphasized play, with a sophisticated James Perse ping pong table in the double height foyer and a Domeau & Pérès and Bonzini foosball table adjacent to the kitchen’s informal dining area, plus a saltwater pool in the backyard and 1.7 acres of landscaped grounds available for leisure time. Located in the Journey’s End gated community, a private dock and tennis courts are also available to residents. The $29 million asking price marks a significant bump from the $8.1 million Macpherson paid for the property in 2018.
