Prolific property flippers Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have snapped up a Tudor-style residence outside Los Angeles for $US3.607 million ($5.26 million), according to media reports.
The three-bedroom home comprises two barns originally built in England in the 1700s, transported to the secluded coastal town of Montecito and reconstructed into a private home.
A glassed-in orangerie connects the two barns and living spaces of the 1986-built pad.
With a landscape architect-designed garden and tree-shaded outdoor sitting space, the hideaway sits on a generous block of more than 5400 square metres.
