A house ravaged by a fire is on the market – and the owners are hoping it will fetch more than $1.6 million.
The kitchen and sleep-out on the property in Kingsland, central Auckland was burned down in February 2019 in an alleged arson, which co-owner Ian McClue said was started by an unknown person.
McClue said his father bought the home nearly 40 years ago and he and his siblings now jointly own it.
The family has been unable to repair the extensive fire damage as they did not have insurance and have since decided to sell up.
