A Wellington apartment advertised for rent online has drawn criticism for claiming it could house two tenants – but some say Kiwis should embrace living in smaller spaces.
The Trade Me listing, also listed on Facebook marketplace, described the $300 per week property as an unfurnished studio apartment “suitable for up to two tenants” but pictures showed the Webb St space only being able to fit a single bed.
When queried by Stuff about how a second person could possibly live in the space, the woman behind the listing acknowledged it would be a squeeze.
