Potential buyers haven’t been put off by the fact that a South Auckland house is openly marketed as having housed a P lab.
The house, on Station Rd, Papatoetoe, is set to be auctioned on Sunday.
It is on a 1067 square metre section, which is about a quarter of an acre. The property has a CV of $835,000.
Salespeople Julie Harris and Kim Vaireka said they had opted to be upfront about the fact the house had recently contained a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory.
“We’re of course legally required to inform people of its undesirable status. However, we thought let’s take it a step further and actively promote it as a former P Lab, which seems to be working. We’ve probably already had 50 groups through our open homes, and I suspect it will be a very well attended auction,” Harris said.
