PHOTO: After nearly a decade off our screens, the property show Location, Location, Location is set to return with a pair of familiar faces at the helm.
The dynamic duo taking the reins are none other than Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie, winners of The Block 2021.
The pair bring nearly two decades of experience in buying and selling homes to the show, something that stands them in good stead for their new role, Domain reported.
“We’ve been privileged enough to gain a lot of knowledge through the highs and the lows and through making mistakes and getting it right,” Mitch said.
Mark told Domain that the pair would be acting as a “guardian angel” for buyers on the show.
“We want to be there with them,” says Mark, “because when people are buying property, normally they’re buying from an agent. So, we’re going to be the buyer’s guardian angel, sitting on their shoulder, to represent them.”
Daniel Monaghan, senior vice president, content and programming, Paramount ANZ, said Mark and Mitch had been selected as the show’s hosts due to their ability to connect with viewers, according to Media Week.
“Mitch and Mark have really captured the nation’s heart and we are excited to have them join us here at 10,” Mr Monaghan said.
“Their authentic, fun and warm approach makes them a perfect fit for the network.
“Mitch and Mark aren’t just expert renovators, they’ve built successful careers in sales and marketing and their own property empire.
“Their unique backgrounds place them perfectly to shed some much needed light on Australia’s property market as they help Aussies make the most important purchase of their lives, plus we know they’ll make it entertaining.”
Casting for the latest season is now open, with the show set to debut on Channel 10 later this year.
