The former head of six real estate offices in Melbourne’s south-east has admitted her part in the misappropriation of hundreds of thousands of dollars from agency trust accounts.
Bringing to an end a years-long investigation and legal process, Truc Thanh Nguyen on Monday pleaded guilty to 11 counts of wrongful conversion of property deposits for her own use between January and March 2016.
Nguyen, also known as Judy Nguyen or Judy Thanh Truc, was the franchisee of the LJ Hooker office in Glen Waverley and its associated branches in Keysborough, Box Hill, Mount Waverley, Doncaster and Burwood. All offices suddenly closed in April 2016 under Consumer Affairs Victoria investigation.
