Camouflaged in the bush, jammed into motorhomes or operating out of family garages – methamphetamine laboratories can be found “pretty much anywhere” in New Zealand.
And they rarely resemble the sophisticated, glass-vial filled laboratories featuring in movies or TV.
More often the labs are crudely set up in garages, with containers full of chemicals sitting open on tables and acid stored in plastic fizzy-drink bottles.
