It was one of the highlights of the last Grand Designs NZ season, and now this Queenstown property is getting a new owner.
The 400 square-metre Queen Anne-style house was “rescued” from the Christchurch rubble by Jamie and Melissa McMurtrie, and relocated to the Gibbston Valley. The couple restored the house as a family home, then put it on the market.
The property was sold this week by Hugh Clark and Graeme Jackson of Colliers International Queenstown Realty. A price has not been disclosed, but it was listed at $2.395 million.
