A building in Hastings is in danger of collapsing and has been cordoned off to protect pedestrians and nearby traffic.
The building, at 603 Heretaunga St East, has been described as “unsafe” by a Hasting District Council spokesperson.
The council had installed the temporary cordon blocking the footpath, as well as “further provisions” including signage and traffic diversion was “in the process of being installed”.
