- Christchurch property developer and former bankrupt Dave Henderson is involved in another High Court action to regain control of a private water company at Gibbston, Queenstown.
The water system services 34 properties at Gibbston where he resides when not at his penthouse apartment atop the Heritage building in Cathedral Square, Christchurch.
The water scheme was formerly owned by a company whose director is Henderson’s partner Kristina Buxton.
It was placed in liquidation in 2011 and liquidator Robert Walker used his statutory powers to sell it last year to another company owned by the 34 residents on the scheme.
