The wheels are turning at a converted Brunswick warehouse once owned by racing legend and prominent businessman Bob Jane.

With a turbocharged history, two properties at the site, also formerly home to one of the suburb’s first clothing factories, Stephens & Co, have hit the market in recent months.

The Victorian Heritage Database states the inter-war building reflected different architectural styles as Stephens & Co expanded.

It now features nine townhouses and four units.

Galldon Real Estate director Michael Torcasio said the townhouses had a value of about $2 million.
