PHOTO: WINTONS The heritage officers’ houses at Hobsonville Point, which once belonged to the RNZAF, are being sold with completed exteriors and original (liveable) interiors.

The officers’ families at the RNZAF’s Hobsonville base had the best houses back in the 1930s – just look at the stunning waterfront location of these heritage homes.

On one side there’s a view of the water, and on the other the houses overlook Marlborough Oval, the former air force parade ground.

They didn’t always look as perfect as this, however. Developer Wintonsays No 2 was occupied from 1935 by WWI veteran Flight Lieutenant Wilson and his family.
