Annabel Langbein fell in love with Lake Wanaka back in 1997 when the renowned Kiwi chef and her husband, Ted Hewetson, bought the piece of land.

Five years later, they built their holiday cabin, and since then she and Ted have transformed their “boggy hillside” plot into a fantastic orchard and vegetable garden, growing nearly all of their own food.
