The Brisbane family home of swimming sensation Ariarne Titmus has hit the market again, with an asking price between $2.35 million and $2.55 million.

The Chelmer property gained additional fame after Titmus shattered the world record for the 200m freestyle at the Australian trials on Wednesday night.

This four-bedroom Hamptons-style residence was recently up for auction but did not sell, despite attracting several registered bidders.

The house was custom-built for Titmus’s parents, Steve, a co-anchor of Channel Seven Gold Coast News, and Robyn, a recruitment consultant. The property features a pool and is conveniently located near Ariarne’s training facilities and her former high school.

Spanning two levels on a 445 sqm block, the home offers ample space and comfort. Ariarne moved out in December 2023 and now owns a three-bedroom unit in Teneriffe, which she purchased for $1.65 million in June 2022.

The 178 sqm unit, currently rented, is located in a building with a rooftop pool offering city and Brisbane River views, barbecue facilities, and four private dining areas.

With the Paris Olympics approaching, all eyes are on Titmus’s performance. If she can replicate her 200m-400m double victory from Tokyo, she will surpass the achievements of Australian swimming legends like Dawn Fraser, Ian Thorpe, and Shane Gould
