The first house and land packages for Paeroa’s former racecourse have been put up for sale.
Listed on Trade Me by numerous real estate offices and building companies, the subdivision has been dubbed Oranmore Cres.
While the land developer hasn’t progressed past the approved 45-lot subdivision on the corner of Thames and Raroa Rds, Paeroa’s former racecourse could one day become an expansive housing estate.
In 2017, Stuff reported that while the majority of the racecourse site was zoned Reserve (Active), approximately three hectares of land which was a parking area was already zoned residential.
