Feilding

If a house doesn’t sell, most homeowners will consider dropping the price.

Not so, the Feilding man whose two-bedroom Lethbridge St property has been on the market for at least 13 years – the average length of time for a house to sell in Feilding over the past 12 months is 11 days.

Roland Le Gal has upped the asking price of his house, which he is (or isn’t) selling privately.

He was asking NZ$465,700, but now he wants NZ$680,050

And it’s because the RV has now climbed to NZ$320,000, up from NZ$200,000.

So he is asking more than twice the RV, which may well put off potential buyers, which seems to be his intention.

But it won’t put them off as much as his photos and the descriptions of the house.
