Brisbane-based selling agent Josephine Johnston-Rowell of Johnston Dixon usually spends all of January skiing, but this year she had to cut her holiday short and return to work.
“I had to come back from annual leave early because the market is moving so fast and buyer demand is so strong at the moment,” she said.
Ms Johnston-Rowell, who specialises in high-end properties in Brisbane, has started 2020 by settling on a property at 25 Oasis Court, Fig Tree Pocket for $2.18 million on Thursday.
She said more deals are in the works as buyers and vendors return to the market.
“The Brisbane prestige market has been very strong in the last three months, which may have helped boost both buyers’ and vendors’ confidence,” she said.
