When most people think of real estate agents at work it never occurs to them that there is a lot of danger involved in the occupation. Local real estate agent Martha Dodd-Slippy sheds light on the dangers faced day in and day out by those in her profession through her recently published book “To Real Estate Agents and Brokers … Volume One …Homicide and Other Subjects You Slept Through in Class”.
“What really got me started is I’ve known for a rallying time that the No. 1 cause of real estate agent death on the job is homicide,” Dodd-Slippy said. “I learned that through the FBI and the Census Bureau. Other agents need to be aware and to know what is going on in their field.”
The publication also covers the topics of assaults on real estate agents, attorney mortgage fraud, misrepresentation, real estate atrocities, what agents did and major financial institutions getting caught doing wrong.
