The number of homes in Britain valued at £1 million (US$1.3 million) or more is dropping as house prices dip across the nation, according to a report Thursday from Zoopla.
A total of 733,777 homeowners in Britain have a property that’s valued at £1 million or more this month, down from 768,553 in February 2018, according to the property website’s data.
In London, home to the most property millionaires across the country, seven-figure properties logged the largest declines. There are now 395,871 million-pound homes in the city, a decline of almost 35,000 from February last year.
The majority of London’s pricey homes are in the borough of Westminster, where more than 46% of homes are worth more than £1 million, though the figure dipped just slightly—by less than 100 properties—this month compared to last year.
