A Lake Worth man is facing a fraud charge after he allegedly scammed a woman out of rent money, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office thinks there are more victims who haven’t come forward.

Steven Christopher Arce, 43, was arrested Wednesday night and released a few hours later after he posted a $3,000 bond.

State records show that Arce received his real estate license May 9, 2011, and that it’s valid through 2019.

According to an arrest report, at least five different victims have filed complaints with PBSO against Arce “with consistent circumstances, subject descriptions” and other similar details. The estimated loss to the victims is more than $11,000.
