The summer break proved to be bustling for the skilled team at Three Birds Renovations, comprising Lana Taylor, Bonnie Hindmarsh, and Erin Cayless.

Their primary focus was completing and documenting the upscale renovation of the Glenhaven residence belonging to Erin and her spouse, Nathan Cayless, who serves as the Parramatta Eels NSW Cup coach.

Acquired by the Cayless family in late 2020 for $2,715,000, the five-bedroom, four-bathroom Binet home situated on a 2200sq m plot underwent an extensive transformation.

Erin candidly admitted to sometimes lagging behind her colleagues in the renovation process, attributing it to her commitments.

In a recently released five-part video series chronicling their renovation journey, Nathan shouldered the responsibility, citing his coaching job’s frequent relocations over the years as a contributing factor to the project’s extended timeline.

The property’s expansive land size initially attracted the couple, coupled with its enticing features such as a pool, grassy areas, and a tennis court.

Impressed by the residence’s charm, Erin recalled making the decision to purchase within just 48 hours of visiting the property.

The renovation adopted an Urban Farmhouse style, highlighted by a Carrera By Design kitchen outfitted with a Fhiaba refrigerator.

Although Nathan missed out on his desired keg cooler for the patio, the barbecue cabinetry, featuring oblique cladding from James Hardie, boasts a Merci Maison bar cart.

In a notable development, Erin’s renovation partner Bonnie and former NRL star turned Fox Sports pundit, Nathan Hindmarsh, made headlines by selling their modern-coastal styled Glenhaven property to tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt and his spouse Bec for a record $10.3m.

The Hindmarsh family opted to remain in The Hills, securing a 2ha property in nearby Kenthurst for $4.05m through an off-market transaction.

During the summer break, the Hindmarsh clan enjoyed time at their renovated beach house in Pearl Beach, a project undertaken by the Three Birds team in 2016.

The inception of Three Birds Renovations in 2014 stemmed from the trio’s shared passion for home improvement, cultivated during their time spent on NRL game day sidelines while their spouses pursued their sporting endeavors.
