The Titmus family, including Channel 7 newsreader Stephen Titmus, his wife Robyn, Ariarne, and her sister Mia, have been juggling multiple responsibilities during the 2024 Paris Games. These included supporting the Australian swimming team, overseeing open homes for the sale of their custom-built Brisbane residence, and managing the rental of their Gold Coast apartment.

Now, shortly after returning from Europe, the Titmus family is facing the reality of parting with their beloved Chelmer home. The property was sold for $2.41 million in the same week that the family celebrated Steve and Robyn’s 28th wedding anniversary.

The home and pool was custom built for the Titmus family.
Reflecting on the milestone, Mr. Titmus shared, “What a fun time it has been. For 28 years, Queen Robyn has put up with me and says she wants to go again. She is a powerhouse of a best friend, soulmate, and wife. When you’re on a good thing, stick to it.”
He added, “We have done so much, and time has flown. We’ve raised two incredible young women, seen much of the world, and made the simple moments in life extra special. Can’t wait to see what the future brings.”
A southern family moving to Brisbane for work will now enjoy the home that raised an Olympic champion.
The home was designed to create multiple spaces for families to relax in.
The Chelmer home, which features a custom-built pool and spaces designed for family relaxation, was listed for sale by Ann-Karyn Fraser of Place New Farm. She described the property as a sought-after gem due to its prime location near the CBD, proximity to the river, and its modern design.
“It was such a privilege to market this beautiful property for the Titmus family,” Ms. Fraser said. “It sold to a southern family moving to Brisbane for work opportunities.”
The Chelmer property is located within the school catchment area of Indooroopilly State High School and is close to St Peter’s, the school Ariarne attended, making it particularly appealing to families.

Although the Titmus family has sold their Brisbane home, they already own an apartment in Teneriffe, Queensland’s most expensive suburb, and another on the Gold Coast, which they rented out during the Paris Games
