THE $9 million sale of a luxury Gold Coast mansion earlier this year that smashed the suburb record, has finally settled.
The riverfront property in the Bundall locale of Sorrento trumps the $8 million sale achieved in 2009 for a mansion in the same street.
Michael Kollosche of Kollosche Prestige Agents negotiated the sale.
“It was a long settlement at the owner’s request and only settled last week,” Mr Kollosche said.
Property records show vendor Robyn Smith bought the palatial house at 8-10 Marseille Court in 2007 for $6.2 million.
It was listed at almost $14 million last year before being dropped to $9.95 million.
