Jennifer Hawkins and her husband, Jake Wall, are advancing with the construction of their impressive $30 million mansion in Whale Beach, located on Sydney‘s Northern Beaches. However, locals are growing increasingly frustrated with the ongoing development, which began over nine months ago, due to the continuous presence of trucks blocking the narrow street and occupying parking spaces for extended periods.

According to reports from the Sydney Morning Herald, residents in the surrounding homes are deeply affected, with one neighbor experiencing his driveway being blocked numerous times for extended durations. Additionally, there have been complaints of damage to a resident’s front lawn caused by cement mixers.

Furthermore, the persistent noise emanating from the renovation work undertaken by Jennifer Hawkins and Jake Wall has disrupted the tranquility of what was once the quietest corner of this peaceful suburb.

Jennifer Hawkins, 39, and her husband Jake Wall, 40, appear to have received the green light for construction in this affluent suburb, situated 40 kilometers north of Sydney’s central business district. Aerial footage obtained by Daily Mail Australia last month revealed a construction site established on the expansive plot of land, which is four times larger than neighboring mansions.

The original 1950s house was demolished to make way for a modern multi-level mansion featuring amenities such as a basketball court, swimming pool, and a spacious garage. This upscale property will also boast an internal lift connecting all three floors, along with five bedrooms, multiple living areas, and an expansive kitchen.

Positioned on a stunning cliffside with breathtaking ocean views, the property is conveniently located near local amenities. The construction site is currently covered by a newly laid dirt foundation, occupying a double block on a hill overlooking the beach. Building materials and excavator trucks are scattered around the expansive site, and scaffolding surrounds the front perimeter.

The property’s size is approximately four times larger than its neighboring houses, reminiscent of Chris Hemsworth’s Westfield-inspired mansion in Byron Bay. The block, previously owned by the late Joan Sutherland, was acquired by Jennifer and Jake in 2020 for $6.95 million.
