Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence has found a buyer for her deluxe Manhattan loft with porters, kids’ playroom and a Turkish hammam.
A contract has been signed for the apartment on Greenwich Street in the Tribeca neighourhood $US10.5 million ($16.2 million).
The Passengers and Hunger Games trilogy star has been living in the property with her husband Cooke Maroney and their baby son Cy, who was born in April.
Lawrence paid a tad over $US9 million ($13.7 million) for the three-bedroom pad near the Hudson River in 2017, the year her film Mother! by director Darren Aronofsky – her ex-partner – was released in cinemas.
The former book bindery was converted to apartments, called 443 Greenwich, the year before Lawrence signed for the keys.
Lawrence, 32, is the only owner of the apartment, which was restored to include contemporary flourishes but retain tactile heritage character.
She and Maroney, an NYC art gallerist and director of the respected Gladstone Gallery, welcomed Cy seven months ago.
However, Lawrence only revealed the name and gender last month, in a cover interview for US Vogue.
Importantly for the actor, who paused making movies and took leave from public life for three years, the loft is accessed by a key-locked lift, and the garage is secure, with a discreet entry.
Beneath ten-foot ceilings, reclaimed oak beams with steel accents, slate benchtops in the kitchen, an open fire and northern sun lend warmth.
The kitchen is aimed at entertainers with two dishwashers, a “pasta pot filler”, 70-bottle wine fridge and an integrated coffee machine.
The main bedroom has four wardrobes – a walk in, and three closets. The en suite is plush with heated floors and towel rail, Calacutta marble finishes, an egg bath and a shower with a stone bench and multiple types of showerhead fixtures for a spa experience.
The apartment building includes luxury resident facilities – an indoor pool, yoga studio, infrared sauna, massage room, Turkish hammam, children’s playroom, rooftop deck and the convenience of a live-in manager, valet and porters.
